Responding to COVID-19: State DOTs Videos from the Frontlines
This Transportation TV series entitled State DOTs Respond to Coronavirus: A Video Diary is showcasing efforts by state departments of transportation to help the nation respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. This video from the Colorado Department of Transportation’s Division of Aeronautics features the work of volunteer aviators who are donating their time and aircraft to transport critical medical supplies to rural hospitals. Groups like the Civil Air Patrol and Angel Flight have partnered with CDOT to deliver surgical masks and other PPEs, to frontline medical workers and lifesaving ventilators to patients who need them.
