Steel Utility Pole Coalition Offers Free Stay-At-Home Webinar Series On How To Build Better Distribution And Subtransmission Systems With Steel Poles.

CENTENNIAL, CO – With more than 600 electric utilities using steel distribution poles, utility professionals need the tools and knowledge to build stronger, cost-effective and reliable distribution and subtransmission systems using steel poles. To meet this need, the Steel Utility Pole Coalition (SUPC), in cooperation with the American Galvanizers Association (AGA), is hosting a 6-part webinar series to provide educational information and certificates of completion during the COVID-19 pandemic. A distinguished panel of industry experts has been assembled to conduct the sessions.

The weekly webinars are free of charge and will cover topics essential to the design, installation and maintenance of steel utility poles. They will be held from 11 a.m. to Noon EDT each week from April 16 – May 28, 2020. Each webinar provides 1 PDH from the American Galvanizers Association. The presenters will be available after the webinars to answer questions.
