Former Bentley Executive Brad Workman joins ZweigWhite
Brad Workman has joined business consulting firm ZweigWhite as its Vice President of Technology and Special Projects. Workman brings more than 35 years of industry experience to ZweigWhite, and he is directing the firm’s information technology and expansion of e-services from their corporate offices in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
“Brad brings a vast knowledge of the AEC and electronic infrastructure industries from his 30- year career at one of the world’s leaders in design software for engineers and architects, Bentley Systems,” said ZweigWhite CEO and founder, Mark C. Zweig. “Brad played a key role in the growth of Bentley and the powerful software they developed that has changed our industry.”
With initial experience as a registered architect and then as the software designer at Intergraph Corporation and eventually Bentley, Workman has vast experience in a wide variety of architectural, computer, internet, and information infrastructure. Initially at Bentley he was a key member of the MicroStation development team. In 1998 he was appointed Vice President of the Building Products organization where he focused on producing a comprehensive suite of Building Information Modeling (BIM) applications. Mr. Workman was responsible for managing Bentley’s largest software updates: MicroStation V8. Mr. Workman was appointed the inaugural Twenty First Century Chair in Integrated Practice at the University Of Arkansas School Of Architecture where he served for two years.
“ZweigWhite turns 25 this year and we are preparing for a new era of growth and expansion into new markets. Our company will greatly benefit from Brad’s understanding of AEC software, computer networks and electronic infrastructure as we continue to use the internet as a way to educate our market through our products and services.” Zweig said. “We are particularly excited about his ability to aid in our development of an e-learning system for our clients. Brad’s addition is another step in our growth and expansion of services. While Brad is an architect and ‘computer guy,’ he’s so much more wide-ranging than that. He’s already proving himself to be a great contributor to our team and ZW family member!”
