Moein El-Aarag joins HNTB in Seattle as bridge department manager
Experience includes project work for Washington Department of Transportation, Seattle Department of Transportation, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, King County and Snohomish County.
BELLEVUE, Wash. – Moein El-Aarag, PE, joined HNTB Corporation as transportation structures department manager in the firm’s Bellevue office. El-Aarag brings more than 20 years of experience in the areas of bridge design, management and construction in the Pacific Northwest.

El-Aarag previously worked as associate project director for another consulting firm. His experience includes project work for Washington Department of Transportation, Seattle Department of Transportation, King County and Snohomish County. His notable project work includes the Ballard Bridge Planning Study, WSDOT Bridge Seismic Retrofit Program and Lander Grade Separation.
In addition to the responsibilities of his new role at HNTB, El-Aarag will continue to provide design oversight for the Lander Street Bridge project for SDOT.
El-Aarag studied structural engineering, earning both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science at Washington State University. He is a state-certified bridge condition inspector.
