Atlanta – Jennifer Winkler Larosa has joined McGuireWoods Consulting as a vice president on the Georgia government relations team. With extensive experience in transportation, infrastructure and local government relations, Larosa will advise clients on procurement goals, public relations initiatives, and legislative agendas.

Prior to joining McGuireWoods Consulting, Larosa was the senior officer of government and external affairs for the Atlanta region’s transit agency, the ATL. She also has experience as the director of government affairs for the American Council of Engineering Companies of Georgia, and has previously worked with a number of clients on the state and local level.

“Jennifer is a rising star at the Georgia Capitol with a wealth of experience in both the public and private sectors. She will be an instant asset for our transportation and infrastructure clients, as well as bolstering our expertise in health care and association management,” said Rob Fortson, senior vice president and director of MWC’s Georgia office. “We couldn’t be more excited to have her join our team.”

McGuireWoods Consulting chairman Mark Bowles echoed Fortson: “Jennifer’s credentials and breadth of experience are a natural fit for our Georgia team. Our clients in both the private and public sectors will benefit from her local and state level government relations knowledge.”

Larosa also serves as a board member of Advance Atlanta, a citizen-driven grassroots coalition dedicated to building support for regional transit and championing existing transit resources. She was named as one of the “50 Women in the know” by Georgia Engineering magazine in 2019 and has been voted as one of Georgia’s “Rising Stars” by James magazine in 2017 and 2018. She holds a master’s degree in policy and management from the University of Georgia.
