LAKE MARY, Fla. – Satya Lory, PE, PMP, joined HNTB Corporation as Florida client service leader and vice president. She is based in the firm’s Lake Mary office and leads HNTB’s delivery of some of the most complex transportation infrastructure projects throughout the state.
Lory has nearly 30 years of experience in the transportation industry, including design and program and project management. She has significant expertise working with alternative delivery methods such as design-build and public-private partnerships.
“Satya’s excellent leadership and commitment to technical excellence have enabled her to build strong client relationships through a keen understanding of needs and expectations,” said Charlie Herndon, PE, HNTB Southeast Division president.
Prior to joining HNTB, Lory served as operations leader and vice president for another consulting firm.
Throughout her career, Lory has worked extensively with Florida Department of Transportation and Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise on projects and initiatives throughout the state, including the I-4 Ultimate public-private partnership; Turnpike widening from I-4 to SR 50 in Central Florida; Veterans Expressway widening and all-electronic tolling conversion in West Florida, among many others.
Lory earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tampa, a Master of Science in civil engineering from the University of South Florida, and a Bachelor of Technology in civil engineering from the National Institute of Technology in Calicut, India.
