The UP Companies Adds Three New Members to Team

St. Louis, MO – The UP Companies (UPCO) announces three new hires to its staff: Michael Robinson as Preconstruction Director, Karen Lamberg as Assistant Controller and Kyle Renaud as Senior Estimator.

Michael Robinson – Preconstruction Director

As Preconstruction Director, Michael Robinson of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, will perform estimating, review policies and procedures, and develop new business and initiatives.

He has 43 years of industry experience, having previously worked as an electrician and Assistant Project Manager for Egizii Electric, Preconstruction Manager/Estimator at Bell Electrical Contractors, Chief Electrical Estimator for McCarthy Construction, Preconstruction Director at Sachs Electric and Preconstruction Manager at Guarantee Electrical. He is also a former U.S. Army Communications Chief.

Robinson has played ice hockey for 45 years and is a youth hockey instructor. He also enjoys golf and fishing and is an electrical instructor. He has three children, six grandchildren and four bonus grandchildren.

Karen Lamberg – Assistant Controller

As Assistant Controller, Karen Lamberg of Maryland Heights, Missouri, will assist the Vice-President of Finance and Project Accountants as needed and perform such duties as cash postings, intercompany entries, miscellaneous projects, reconciliations and lien waivers.

She has 26 years of experience, which includes 13 years in the construction industry. Prior to UPCO, Lamberg worked for Clayco, Inc. of St. Louis as a Senior Project Accountant and at IntelliMark of St. Louis as a Payroll and Billing Manager.

In her spare time, she likes to play golf. She has a married daughter, two grand-dogs and a cat.

Kyle Renaud – Senior Estimator

As Senior Estimator, Kyle Renaud of O’Fallon, Missouri, is responsible for identifying labor, material and time requirements for projects by studying blueprints, specifications and related documents.

Renaud has 20 years of industry experience, having previously worked as a carpenter and estimator for Builders Bloc of Chesterfield, Missouri; a Senior Estimator at GT Built in St. Louis; and a Senior Estimator at Cheltenham Construction Services in Washington, Missouri.

He has a degree in Public Management from Lindenwood University. He is married with two sons and a daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys mountain biking and playing soccer.
