Renee Ross Joins HNTB as Sales Officer for Central Division
AUSTIN, Texas – Renee Ross, PE, joined HNTB Corporation as sales officer and vice president for the firm’s Central Division. She is based in HNTB’s Austin office.
Ross has 23 years of experience in engineering, project management, operations and business development working in transportation infrastructure for other large consulting firms. In those prior positions, she worked closely with departments of transportation, transit agencies and airlines across the country.
“Renee brings a unique blend of technical, operational, team building and communications skills to HNTB,” said Chris Price, PE, HNTB Central Division president. “Her existing relationships and successful business development track record are key components to continuing the firm’s growth.”
As a key member of the division leadership team, she is accountable for growing annual sales goals for the nine-state region which encompasses 15 offices in Texas, Louisiana, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Arkansas and Mississippi. Ross also will assist in recruiting key professionals.
Additional responsibilities include developing client relationships and closely engaging with client service teams to deliver consistently excellent service.
Ross began her career at HNTB as a project manager in 1999 in St. Louis.
Ross is active in professional and civic organizations including a board member of Citizens for Modern Transit; past president of Missouri Society of Professional Engineers, St. Louis Chapter; past president WTS Women in Transportation, St. Louis Chapter; member of the Engineers Club of St. Louis; past Commissioner for City of Webster Groves Planning Commission and Board of Adjustment.
She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, earning a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering. Ross is a registered professional engineer in Missouri and Illinois.
