LOUIS  – Mark Grossenbacher, PE, joined HNTB Corporation’s St. Louis office as practice leader. He is responsible for helping the firm deliver complex infrastructure solutions to transportation clients throughout the region.

Grossenbacher moved to St. Louis from HNTB’s Arlington, Virginia, office where he served as senior project manager and client service leader. There he provided day-to-day management and technical delivery of HNTB’s general engineering consultant contract with the Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

Grossenbacher is focused on serving HNTB’s transportation infrastructure clients and continuing growth of the firm’s downtown St. Louis office. “We are pleased to have Mark return to his hometown to serve our clients,” said Tim Morgan, PE, office leader for HNTB’s Central U.S. offices in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Iowa, and vice president. “Mark is a talented leader and trusted resource who will help solve critical infrastructure challenges in the region.”

Grossenbacher has nearly 35 years of comprehensive industry experience providing civil engineering and project management for design and construction of highway, interchange and bridge projects throughout the country. In recent years, he also led public involvement and community outreach efforts for large-scale transportation and transit planning projects.

Grossenbacher returns to St. Louis, where he worked with HNTB from 2001-2007.
