Gannett Fleming Names Hattarki West Region Facilities Business Line Leader

(Los Angeles, Ca.)- Rebecca Hattarki, AIA, LEEP AP BD+C, joins Gannett Fleming as the new West Region Facilities Business Line leader. In this role, Hattarki will oversee the business strategy and planning, project delivery, and operational growth of Gannett Fleming’s facilities practice across the western U.S.

Hattarki’s most notable programming, design, and construction projects include: the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center with more than 500 inpatient beds serving the most critically ill children and the West Tower replacement for Huntington Hospital, which houses more than 120 beds providing medical care for Pasadena, California, and the surrounding communities.

“Rebecca brings more than 25 years of experience in project management, construction management and integrated facilities management, which she will use to advance our facilities services across the west,” said John Derr, PE, Transportation Business Line and West Region director. “She will use her innovative and adaptive problem-solving skills to lead and develop multidiscipline high performing facilities, engineering, and maintenance teams for the firm and our clients.”

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in environmental design from Texas A&M University and is a registered architect in Texas and California. Hattarki is the recipient of several industry rewards, including the National and Regional Construction Management Association Award, the McGraw-Hill BEST OF Southern California Healthcare Award, and the UCLA Employee Performance Award.
