Infrastructure solutions firm assists clients with largest and most complex transportation projects; demonstrates firm’s commitment to region’s prosperity and mobility

BALTIMORE (MAY 2, 2019) – A commitment to client service and future growth potential led HNTB Corporation to open a new permanent office in the heart of downtown Baltimore, located at 120 E. Baltimore Street.

“HNTB brings regional and national expertise to solving complex transportation challenges for departments of transportation, toll agencies, airports, transit agencies and others,” said Nick Antonucci, PE, HNTB mid-Atlantic office leader and senior vice president. “We’re excited to join the downtown Baltimore community and work collaboratively with Maryland to improve our region’s mobility and economic vitality.”

Aviation, transit and rail, and construction management professionals staff the Baltimore office today. HNTB anticipates expansion of its personnel in coming years to support full service delivery for all transportation clients in Maryland.

HNTB has a 55-year presence helping shape multi-modal infrastructure throughout Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Currently, HNTB is working with the Maryland Transit Administration and the Maryland Aviation Administration on key projects.  HNTB also is supporting delivery of the Purple Line transit project, serving as construction quality control lead.

“A permanent and growing presence in downtown Baltimore better connects HNTB to the people, organizations and ideas that will address transportation priorities in the state,” said Diana Mendes, president of HNTB’s mid-Atlantic Division. “We look forward to supporting the local business community, strengthening regional partnerships and contributing to statewide conversations that will move Maryland forward.”
