ATLANTA, Ga. (March 7, 2019) – Oldcastle Infrastructure is part of the Building Products division of CRH, the largest building materials company in North America. Oldcastle Infrastructure has acquired Suntree Technologies®, a leading manufacturer of high-performance storm water treatment products based in Cocoa, Florida.

The acquisition augments Oldcastle Infrastructure’s line of storm water conveyance, storage and treatment solutions. “We’re excited to welcome Suntree’s employees and customers to the Oldcastle Infrastructure family,” said Matt Clemson, General Manager of Oldcastle Infrastructure’s storm water business. “With more than 25 years of manufacturing and engineering excellence, Suntree’s storm water treatment products complement our existing offering very well. This is a milestone on our journey to offering the most comprehensive storm water solutions to our customers in North America.”

Founded in 1993, Suntree markets a full-line of proprietary storm water treatment products with a combination of more than 30 patents and regulatory approvals. “Our product line and services have evolved to help solve storm water pollution problems,” said Tom Happel, Suntree President. “The ability for municipalities to retrofit existing storm water structures with our products saves taxpayer dollars and brings local watershed management within specification without sacrificing quality.”

Suntree has a proven track record of offering eco-friendly storm water treatment solutions that are easy to maintain. Their products are based on proprietary Hydro-Variant Technology, a unique approach to storm water treatment which affords maximum treatment without compromising the hydrology of the watershed.

One such example is the Nutrient Separating Baffle Box® (NSBB), currently the industry standard for online sediment capture without associated head loss and scouring. Presently, it is the only hydrodynamic separator available with patented screening technology to prevent nutrient leaching and septic water.
