Mission Viejo, CA – SidePlate Systems, the industry leader in structural steel design optimization, announces two new hires and two big promotions. The momentum towards growth in 2019 at SidePlate is unprecedented.

Starting with promotions, former Director of Business Development, Ryan Smith, has been promoted to Director of SidePlate. Smith’s experience in engineering and Business Development made him the perfect choice to take SidePlate into the future. Already in the role for the last four months, Smith is leading a number of significant internal initiatives that will be brought to our customer partners over the next year, making SidePlate even more of a first choice for them.

Next up, Jason Hoover has stepped up from Regional Business Manager into the Director of Business Development Role. Hoover was the first regional Business Development engineer on the team and has nurtured our entire east coast expansion. He now has two new regional engineers to train, and a team of four veteran Regional Engineers that he supports while they serve our customer partners nationwide.

First up in our newly developed Southwest territory is Chris Burnett. Having worked around the world sharpening his engineering skills, Burnett is ready to be back in the USA and helping share the SidePlate message throughout the Southwest. Customers who work with Burnett will enjoy listening to his fishing and barbecuing stories—they are the perfect foundation for business relationships that become friendships.

Rounding out the new team is Matthew Brady, handling our Midwest territory. Brady has been in the engineering world since his college days, excepting when he continues to serve our country in his role as a member of the Army National Guard. Midwest region customers will enjoy chatting about baseball and golf with him—or, of course, structural steel.
