Tom Bartolomei Named Chief Executive Officer and President of NAES

NEW YORK and ISSAQUAH, Wash., March 7, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — ITOCHU Corporation and NAES Corporation have named Tom Bartolomei President and Chief Executive Officer of NAES, effective April 1, 2019. A veteran energy industry executive, Mr. Bartolomei currently serves as NAES Chief Operating Officer and President.

ITOCHU executive and NAES Chairman, Taka Takeuchi stated: “On behalf of the shareholders and the board of directors of NAES, it’s a pleasure to announce Tom Bartolomei as the next President and CEO of NAES. Tom has been with the company since 2014 and has demonstrated the proficiency and leadership skills we feel necessary to continue NAES’ growth and future success.”

Mr. Bartolomei has over 28 years of experience in the global power generation and energy sectors spanning P&L leadership, business development, construction/fabrication, M&A, and strategic planning. Before joining NAES in 2014, he held senior and executive level positions at ABB, Alstom Power, Burns & Roe Enterprises, and most recently as President and CEO of Eco Power Solutions, an early-stage technology provider of emissions control equipment to the fossil-fuel power generation sector.

While at NAES and in his role as President & COO, Mr. Bartolomei focused on its strategic growth through organic and M&A initiatives, operational excellence, and various business development initiatives. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Upon stepping down, Mr. Fishman will remain on the Board of Directors as Vice Chairman providing advice to the management team and ITOCHU.
