Tom Bartolomei Named Chief Executive Officer and President of NAES
NEW YORK and ISSAQUAH, Wash., March 7, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — ITOCHU Corporation and NAES Corporation have named Tom Bartolomei President and Chief Executive Officer of NAES, effective April 1, 2019. A veteran energy industry executive, Mr. Bartolomei currently serves as NAES Chief Operating Officer and President.
ITOCHU executive and NAES Chairman, Taka Takeuchi stated: “On behalf of the shareholders and the board of directors of NAES, it’s a pleasure to announce Tom Bartolomei as the next President and CEO of NAES. Mr. Bartolomei has over 28 years of experience in the global power generation and energy sectors spanning P&L leadership, business development, construction/fabrication, M&A, and strategic planning. Before joining NAES in 2014, he held senior and executive level positions at ABB, Alstom Power, Burns & Roe Enterprises, and most recently as President and CEO of Eco Power Solutions, an early-stage technology provider of emissions control equipment to the fossil-fuel power generation sector.
While at NAES and in his role as President & COO, Mr. Bartolomei focused on its strategic growth through organic and M&A initiatives, operational excellence, and various business development initiatives. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Upon stepping down, Mr. Fishman will remain on the Board of Directors as Vice Chairman providing advice to the management team and ITOCHU.
