Profile Products Employees Earn Designation as Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control

BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. (January 16, 2019) — Profile Products is proud to announce that employees Adam Dibble and Rachel Higgins recently earned the designation of Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC). Both Dibble and Higgins are also Certified Erosion, Sediment and Stormwater Inspectors (CESSWI).

Adam Dibble

Dibble is the senior marketing and erosion control brand manager at Profile Products and has been with the company since 2009. He is currently the vice president of marketing and president-elect of the International Erosion Control Association (IECA) board of directors. Additionally, Dibble is a member of the Erosion Control Technology Council and the American Marketing Association. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing in diversified fields from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan.

Rachel Higgins

Higgins, a technical services associate, joined Profile in 2017. She provides technical product information and recommendations utilizing Profile’s Soil Solution Software (PS³). Higgins reviews soil tests with clients to determine if and what adjustments are needed to create optimal conditions for sustainable establishment. Additionally, she assists clients with technical letters for compliance, certification, comparison and project submittals. Higgins has her bachelor’s degree in agricultural and biological engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a concentration in soil and water sciences. Prior to Profile, Higgins worked for the Illinois State Water Survey monitoring water quality and pollutants in Illinois Watersheds.

The CPESC designation recognizes expert knowledge in the principles, practices and legislation of erosion and sediment control. Those with the CPESC certification have demonstrated the ability to observe, evaluate and synthesize information related to Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), Erosion and Sediment Control plans, installation of erosion and sediment control practices and other related activities such as assisting regulators, authoring publications or educating the public.
