Arpit Talati Named Texas/Mountain Regional Business Manager for WSP

DALLAS —  Arpit Talati has been named regional business manager for the Texas/Mountain region of WSP USA, a leading engineering and professional services consultancy.

            Talati, who is based in the firm’s Dallas office, will manage the firm’s transportation business operations and staff in the Texas/Mountain region, which includes Texas, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.

            Talati brings to his new role a strong understanding of project delivery, business operations and sales. He began his career planning, designing and managing delivery of highway and infrastructure projects.  Prior to joining WSP, Talati was responsible for infrastructure sales for an international engineering organization. 

Talati joined WSP in 2016 as regional business development director for the Texas/Mountain region. In that role, he was responsible for developing and implementing business development strategy for transportation and infrastructure projects and managing client relationship efforts for the firm.

             Talati received a B.S. in civil engineering from Texas Tech University. He is a registered engineer in the state of Texas.  His professional affiliations include the American Council of Engineering Companies and the American Society of Civil Engineers.

            With a mix of alternative and traditional delivery projects in its portfolio, the Texas/Mountain region is home to some of WSP’s largest clients, including the Texas Department of Transportation, Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority, and Texas Central Partners (developers of the Texas High-Speed Train) and other important clients such as Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, Denver International Airport, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, and state departments of transportation in Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Arizona.
