Raleigh, NC – Gannett Fleming, a global engineering and infrastructure firm, announced that Susan Taylor has joined the firm as the Southeast Region business development & marketing (BD&M) manager. Located in the Raleigh, North Carolina, office, she will focus on BD&M support services with a strategic emphasis on Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina.“Susan’s key role will be to assist with BD&M support services for DOTs/Tolls, Construction Services, Water, and Facilities in the region,” said Terry Snow, PE, a Gannett Fleming vice president, North Carolina area transportation manager, and Raleigh office principal. “She will closely work and coordinate with respective business line directors, leaders, client managers, and capture managers to help implement and support the BD&M life cycle program.”

Additionally, Susan will serve the business lines by providing best-in-class client management, capture planning, and proposal management services to win new project opportunities. She will assist the firm in growing into new areas and acquiring new clients.

Susan brings more than 25 years of valuable BD&M experience, primarily with architecture and engineering firms. She will represent the Southeast Region as a member of the Gannett Fleming BD&M Practice Leadership Team (PLT) and will bring innovative solutions to the PLT and the region.

Susan is actively involved in the transportation market, serving as former chair of the American Council of Engineering Companies of North Carolina marketing committee. She also participates in the Research Triangle chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication from North Carolina State University.
