Tina Williamson Joins HNTB in Central Florida as Senior Planner

LAKE MARY, Fla.  – Tina Williamson, AICP, joined HNTB Corporation as a senior planner, based in the firm’s Lake Mary office. Williamson is responsible for developing technical solutions and strategies for planning projects throughout the region. 

Williamson has more than 16 years of municipal planning experience in Central Florida, most recently serving as director of development services for Seminole County where she oversaw daily operations of the Planning and Development Division, the Building Division, and the Development Review Engineering Division. Additionally, she coordinated with elected and appointed officials on development services initiatives. 

“Tina is a highly skilled planner with a robust leadership background, enabling her to offer a variety of innovative and technically excellent solutions to complex transportation issues,” said Frank O’Dea, PE, HNTB group director–engineering and vice president. “Her experience with Seminole County and other municipalities provides valuable resources to clients delivering the region’s most complex transportation programs.”

Williamson earned a Master of Science in planning, focused on urban and regional planning, from Florida State University. 

Active in industry organizations, she is a member of the Florida Chapter of the American Planning Association and Florida Planning and Zoning Association.
