Dr. Eric Vogler Joins Stantec to Grow Water Sector Practice
Pasadena, CA, NYSE, TSX:STN- Dr. Eric Vogler has joined Stantec—a global engineering, architecture, and consulting firm—as a principal in its growing environmental services team in Pasadena, Calif. Dr. Vogler will apply his more than two decades of experience to serve and expand the firm’s hydrogeology and water resources engineering practice.
With 20-plus years of experience working across a wide variety of project types from water and wastewater treatment to groundwater modeling, Dr. Vogler will focus on delivering exceptional projects and further developing the firm’s relationships with key Southern California clients. Dr. Vogler has an advanced knowledge of numerical analysis including computational fluid dynamics. His experience includes the model-based design of multimillion-gallon-per-day facilities to financial review of planning alternatives for federal projects valued at several billions of dollars.

Most recently, Dr. Vogler was working in Tampa, Florida, but is returning to California, where he has spent most of his professional career. He has provided consulting to a variety of clients, including Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, U.S. Department of Defense, Southern California Edison, Kern County Water District, and the Cities of Barstow, Buena Park, and Ontario to name a few. Additionally, he has published multiple articles in peer reviewed journals, including Water Resources Research and Environmental Science and Technology.
Dr. Vogler holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from San Diego State University, an MBA from the University of New Mexico, and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine, where he has taught civil engineering water-related courses: Groundwater Hydrology and Groundwater Remediation System Design.
