Richters has been involved with transportation planning and Geographic Information Systems for more than 10 years. Earlier in her career, she served as transportation planning supervisor for the Jacksonville Transportation Authority, where she led the system planning group within the operations department.

Prior to joining HNTB, Richters served as a senior GIS analyst for another consulting firm, responsible for data research, map production and report writing for transportation corridor studies.
Richters earned a Master of Arts in mathematics from Jacksonville University and a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from the University of North Florida. She is active in professional organizations, including serving as immediate past president and professional development director of Women’s Transportation Seminar Northeast Florida Chapter. Additionally, she is a graduate of the American Public Transportation Association’s Early Career Program.
