Lauren Sajek Joins Stantec’s San Francisco Architecture Team
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF., NYSE, TSX:STN: Lauren Sajek, AIA, LEED AP, has rejoined global architecture, engineering, consulting, and construction firm Stantec as an architect in the firm’s San Francisco office. She comes to Stantec via Chicago where she specialized in multi-family and mixed-use properties. Sajek’s hire represents Stantec’s continued commitment to growing its Buildings sector in Northern California and beyond. Sajek will collaborate with employees from the firm’s Chicago and San Francisco offices.
Recently, Sajek was the project architect on a multi-family residential development as part of the Walnut Creek Transit Village masterplan—a transit-oriented development which will be located next to the Walnut Creek Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) station. Passionate about designing with community in mind, she takes a close interest in real estate development and enjoys learning about how projects will shape the community around her.

Sajek holds a master’s degree in architecture from the University of South Florida and a bachelor’s degree in architecture and sustainability. She is NCARB and LEED AP BD+C certified and is a member of ULI Chicago.
Sajek previously worked out of Stantec’s Miami and Pittsburgh offices. As a designer, she was involved with the preparation and production of architecture drawings—from schematic design phase to construction administration—for mixed-use, multi-family high-rise and higher education projects.
