Jill Connell Joins Stantec’s Growing Mechanical Team
Seattle, Wash., NYSE, TSX:STN: Jill Connell has joined global architecture, engineering, consulting, and construction firm Stantec as a senior health care project manager, joining the mechanical practice in the Seattle office. She comes to Stantec from Mazzetti + GBA where she was a senior mechanical project manager specializing in health care and critical environment system infrastructure.
A mechanical engineer for more than 30 years, Jill has an established background in project management, construction administration, and mechanical engineering design. In her role at Stantec, Jill will focus on leading mechanical designs on projects of all sizes, in addition to working on larger multidiscipline projects.
With a strong background in health care, Connell recently worked on the Overlake FutureCare New East Patient Tower in Bellevue, Wash. She was the senior project manager and mechanical engineer-in-charge for the Overlake Medical Center’s $250 million, five-year campus renewal project. She also played an integral role as the project manager and mechanical engineer-in-charge in the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport North Satellite Modernization Project which involved the expansion and renovation of a 45-year-old facility to give passengers an enhanced travel experience.

A resident of the Seattle area, Jill is a graduate of the University of Washington and holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. She’s a member of the Pacific Northwest AIA Architecture for Health Committee, the American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), American Society of Hospital Engineers, and Washington State Society of Hospital Engineers. She is also an ASHRAE-Certified Healthcare Facility Design Professional and a LEED Accredited Professional.
