infrastructure-excellence.com is hosting the 2nd annual competition showcasing Excellence in Infrastructure. The winners will be given over $10,000 in prizes by our generous competition sponsors. The competition is open to everyone planning, designing, building and managing infrastructure projects, 21 years and older, to highlight the best projects done in 2012/2013.
We are looking for the best usage of Autodesk technology to plan, design, build or manage Civil Infrastructure projects. Project types may include Transportation (roads and highways, rail, airports, bridges…), Land development (commercial sites, subdivisions, public parks and recreation…), Water (distribution, water resources, dams and levees, wastewater), Energy (electric and gas distribution, electric transmission and substation design) and Urban planning
Entries will be judged on project complexity, innovative use of technology, sustainable design practices, and a clear articulation of how model-based workflows benefited the outcome of the project. Model-based proceses may include but are not limited to integrated analysis, simulation techniques and visualization.
From the submitted entries a panel of expert judges will select three winners and one honorable mention winner. Winners will have the opportunity to be recognized at Autodesk University 2013 conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
