Call for Abstracts Educator’s Workshop Webinars

The organizers of the 13th North American Masonry Conference are pleased to announce that abstract submission is now open for potential papers to be presented at the Conference, which will be held in Salt Lake City on June 16-19, 2019.The conference has released a new website at https://masonrysociety.org/13namc/, and that site gives preliminary information on the conference. Abstracts for manuscripts on a wide variety of masonry topics will be considered and can be submitted through the Abstract Collector linked from the conference website until July 31, 2018.

Sponsorships for the conference are also be accepted at this time through pledges. See the website, or contact TMS at 303-939-9700 for sponsorship rates and benefits.

Join us on Thursday, March 8 (1:00 pm – 2:00 pm EST) as Richard Bennett and Luke Scoggins discuss major changes to the anchor bolt design provisions in the 2016 edition of TMS 402. This webinar will also address changes in ASCE 7-16 related to a reduction in the required load increase for some seismic applications.  The webinar will review general anchor bolt design, provide practical design tips, and show examples of anchor bolt design.  Click here to register.
