DENVER – The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center in Port Hueneme, California awarded a CH2M-led joint venture a contract for engineering and design services for energy, water and utility projects and services at Navy and Marine Corp installations worldwide.

The joint venture between CH2M and Clark Nexsen Energy Partners will be required to provide 20 or more simultaneous worldwide task orders for complex energy projects and technologies by the expected completion date of 2022.

“We are proud to have the opportunity to partner with the Navy to help them meet their energy project needs.  Over the past five years, our teams have effectively provided a broad range of services from energy and water efficiency audits, to designs to improve facility and utility efficiencies, to renewable energy services,” said CH2M National Governments President Terry Ruhl.

This award marks the joint venture’s second consecutive contract. Under the current contract awarded in 2011, the team has delivered 127 task orders in energy efficiency projects and services at more than 115 Navy, Marine Corp and joint base locations.
