Todd Childress Joins HNTB as Senior Project Manager in Hampton Roads
ARLINGTON, Va. – Todd Childress, PE, joined HNTB Corporation as senior project manager, based in the firm’s growing Hampton Roads office. His responsibilities include program management, business development, technical quality oversight and project delivery. He will closely collaborate with transportation agencies in the region to help deliver mobility solutions.
Childress has 20 years of experience spanning multiple engineering disciplines. “Todd has a comprehensive understanding of Virginia’s transportation needs,” said Chris Lester, PE, HNTB transportation group director and vice president. “His impressive project portfolio includes highways, interchanges, new and replacement bridges. He also brings a deep understanding of area issues with tunnels, structures, and roadways throughout the Hampton Roads region.”
Prior to joining HNTB, Childress worked for other consulting firms handling structural engineering management, project management and business systems oversight.
He earned a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Old Dominion University.
