Take Control of the Wastewater from your Home

KITCHENER, Ont. — We use a lot of water in our homes, whether it is taking a shower, brushing our teeth, washing dishes, cleaning the house or, ahem, taking care of other matters.

It is comforting peace of mind to simply watch this dirty water swirling down the drain, but its safe and efficient disposal doesn’t happen by accident. And it’s not until there is a problem — such as a holding tank backing up into your basement — that people give much thought to the water that is swirling down their drains.

“We are all living busy lives and shouldn’t need to concern ourselves with what happens after we flush the toilet,” says George Micevski, President of Tulsar Canada. “Whether you own a home or a small business, you need assurances that your holding tank won’t overflow or run dry, and the right control panel for your wastewater system takes all the worry away.”

Tulsar Canada has recently updated and re-released its Pivot Series control panel that offers continuous monitoring of the holding tank in your home, business or vacation property. The Pivot Series uses a series of floats to monitor wastewater levels, turning on the pump to drain the water into the forcemain outside of your home or business. Once the water drops to safe level, the Pivot shuts off the pump, but continues to monitor to ensure water levels don’t run too low and damage your pump and related equipment.

Featuring a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure, the Pivot can be safely mounted outside and protected with a pad lockable hasp that secures the contents.

Like all Tulsar Canada control panels, the Pivot Series is hand assembled in Canada. They include a high-level light, alarm test and silence buttons, and a visual and audible high water alarm that will alert you about a pump malfunction.

New features on the updated picot include more security with lockable controls and an alarm if it detects a leak in the pump.

“No home with a holding tank should leave the management of their wastewater to chance,” says Micevski. “ With 24/7 monitoring and operation, a Pivot control panel will give you peace of mind that your dirty water is being safely and efficiently transported from your home without risk or worry to your property or belongings.”
