CH2M Experts Share Remediation Management and Contaminated Sediment Strategies at Battelle Remediation Conference
Industry-leading experts and practitioners from CH2M will share insights, experience and best practices in remediation management and contaminated sediments at the Ninth International Conference on Remediation and Management of Contaminated Sediments January 9-12, 2017 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Recognized remediation industry leaders William DiGuiseppi (Emerging Contaminants/PFOAs) and George Hicks (Sediment Remediation and Management) will lead a CH2M team of technical experts and practitioners in sharing insights on remediation management and contaminated sediment topics including emerging contaminants/PFOAs; in situ stabilization and treatment alternatives; innovative characterization and assessment; and risk-based analysis and approaches in remedial decision-making and others.
CH2M technical experts will be moderating three platform sessions and participating in more than 20 panels, platform presentations and posters at the biannual forum for sharing research results, practical experiences, and opportunities associated with remediating, restoring and managing the environmental and economic vitality of waterways. Maintaining the viability of these aquatic systems requires complex actions that affect a diverse group of stakeholders and raise a wide range of environmental, economic, political and social issues. More than 1,000 scientists, engineers, regulators and other environmental professionals representing universities, government site management and regulatory agencies, environmental and engineering technical consultants, manufacturing and industrial firms and R&D organizations from 30 countries will be in attendance.
CH2M will be at booth 318 at the Battelle Remediation Management and Contaminated Sediments Conference. Here is the complete roster and schedule of CH2M’s technical contributions.
