Munich, December 5, 2016 – The Nemetschek Group (DE ISIN 0006452907), an internationally leading software provider serving the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry, has announced that four of its brands have won the Digital Building Transition Award in Paris, France, with their BIM solutions. The prizewinners are: GRAPHISOFT’s ARCHICAD 20 in the “Design Tools” category, SCIA Engineer in the “Structural and Civil Engineering” category, Allpan’s BIM+ in the category “Collaborative or Content Sharing Tools” and Solibri Model Checker in the category “Special Prize”.

Established by the Government of France, the Digital Transition Plan for Buildings (PTNB) awards recognize software innovations that help building design and construction professionals transition to and work within a building information modeling (BIM) workflow. The objective of the awards is to highlight the digital tools that allow all building professionals to work on digital models using BIM. Of the 93 entries, 30 solutions were nominated. The jury then selected 11 winners in 10 categories. Most of the participating software will be listed on the French Government’s PTNB website as a guide for design and construction professionals to consider the best BIM software tools available on the market today.

“We are very pleased that four of our BIM solutions have been awarded in France,” says Patrik Heider, Spokesman and CFOO of the Nemetschek Group. “Our BIM solutions stand for an open approach. With this philosophy, Nemetschek is committed to making project information available to everyone and to making digital project collaboration more transparent and easier to access by all parties in the value chain of our industry.”
