WALLINGFORD, Connecticut — Earle Cianchette, a 30-year construction management veteran, joins the Construction/Design-Build Group at Burns & McDonnell in New England. Cianchette will serve as a senior project manager, overseeing construction field operations and leading design-build initiatives for the New England office.

“We are thrilled to have Earle join our team,” says Brett Williams, president and New England office general manager. “His strong background in construction management, dedication to a superior safety record and commitment to executing complex projects on schedule and under budget meshes perfectly with our business approach.”

Throughout Cianchette’s career, he’s served in a variety of roles including project superintendent, project manager, business group manager and senior vice president of operations. In his most recent position, he was responsible for the financial performance of construction operations, generating more than $500 million in annual revenue. He also implemented standardized project controls procedures and key performance indicators and led the development of a transmission, distribution and substation business unit. Cianchette dually served as the executive-in-charge on more than 50 transportation, fuel transmission and distribution and transmission substation projects.

In his new role with Burns & McDonnell, Cianchette says he looks forward to supporting the company’s design-build method with his experience in the power, infrastructure, commercial and transportation markets and being a part of the employee ownership culture.

“I’ve always had a great respect for the Burns & McDonnell culture of ownership and safety,” says Cianchette. “These values align with my own and I have seen the difference they make for our clients and the quality of work we provide.”

Cianchette received a bachelor’s degree in nautical science from Maine Maritime Academy, where he now serves on the Board of Trustees.
