City of Calgary Conducts an Energy Mapping Study

In July of 2008, the Canadian Urban Institute partnered with Enermodal Engineering and Decision Economics Consulting Ltd. to undertake the Energy Mapping Study for the City of Calgary. The study provides direction to the City about which alternative building standards and energy generation technologies are the most cost-effective at contributing to the community adopted target of reducing citywide carbon emissions to 50% below 2005 levels, by the year 2050.
