(Harrisburg, Pa.) Forces of Change, Gannett Fleming’s external-facing corporate magazine, has been honored by the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) in its 2016 National Marketing Communications Awards (MCA). Produced entirely in-house, the magazine earned a second-place award in the “External Newsletter/Publication” category. The award winners were announced at the recent SMPS annual conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Launched in 2009, Forces of Change highlights a broad range of Gannett Fleming projects. The publication facilitates knowledge sharing to enable growth and innovation through the power of thought leadership. As an educational magazine, Forces of Change promotes modern solutions to complex problems so that others may learn from industry advances.

Demonstrating the firm’s commitment to sustainability, the publication is printed on recycled paper with soy-based ink. An online version also is available on the firm’s corporate website at http://gannettfleming.com/NewsRoom/newsletter-magazines. The digital format has expanded the reach of the magazine, further positioning Gannett Fleming as a trailblazer in the industry.

SMPS is dedicated to creating business opportunities in the architectural, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry. The MCA is the longest-standing, most prestigious awards program honoring outstanding communication vehicles for A/E/C firms.

This award is the latest in a series of honors for Forces of Change. The publication previously earned a second-place award in the “Magazine” category of SMPS’ MCA awards. It also earned a platinum award as part of the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals MarCOM Awards and a first place award in Zweig Group’s Marketing Excellence Awards.
