Versar-Arcadis Joint Venture Wins Environmental and Munitions Remediation Contract For US Army Corps of Engineers

Highlands Ranch, CO & Springfield, VA – Oct. 24, 2016 – Arcadis North America and Versar, Inc. (NYSE MKT: VSR) announced today the Versar-Arcadis Joint Venture has been awarded a new multiyear contract by the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center – Huntsville to provide environmental and munitions remediation services throughout the United States for eight U.S Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) districts including Albuquerque, Los Angeles, Sacramento, Tulsa, Fort Worth, Seattle, Kansas City and Omaha.

The Versar-Arcadis Joint Venture is one of seven firms selected for award of the indefinite delivery/indefinite quality contracts to provide environmental remediation and munitions response support for various military installations, federal and civil agencies and their partners, including the U.S. Department of Defense and Environmental Protection Agency. The USACE contracts have a total combined capacity of up to $400 million over an approximate 5-year period shared among the seven selected firms. Actual work assignments will be negotiated under task orders with specific scopes of work and will be assigned in the continental United States.
