Parsons Awarded 3-Year Contract for Blue Water Bridge

PASADENA, CA – Parsons has been awarded a 3-year contract by the Michigan Department of Transportation to provide structural services for the Michigan-owned portion of the Blue Water Bridge. The Blue Water Bridge crosses the St. Clair River connecting Routes I-94/I-69 in Port Huron, MI, with Highway Route 402 in Point Edward, Ontario, Canada. This twin-span international bridge serves as a gateway linking Canada and the United States and is the second busiest crossing between the two countries.

The 3-year contract covers structural engineering, inspection, structural design, emergency repair consultation, general studies and reports, and as-needed engineering services for the Blue Water Bridge, approach bridges, and mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) walls.
