With a ‘STOP’ Sign and Message, Arizona Takes Aim at Domestic Violence

Stop signs made by ADOT don’t normally come in purple, and their message is normally limited to “STOP.”

This week, however, the sign at right, produced by ADOT, is helping Governor Doug Ducey bring attention to the problem of domestic violence. Last night, the governor lit the State Capitol dome purple, the color of domestic violence awareness, and proclaimed October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Arizona.
