DAYTON, Ohio — Building on a stellar 2015 that saw five-year highs in profitability, utilization, sales and net revenues, Woolpert has climbed the rankings on the lists of top architecture and engineering publications.

In Engineering News-Record (ENR), Woolpert moved up 11 spots from the 2015 compilation to land at No. 124 on ENR’s Top 500 Design Firms for 2016. The firm also ascended to No. 20 in the Midwest, moved up the Southeast poll to 41st and broke into the Mid-Atlantic list for the first time at No. 58.

Woolpert also was named among ENR’s Top Pure Designers, entering this list at No. 93.

“ENR rankings include the most notable firms in the industry,” said Bill Dougherty, Woolpert market director. “We’re excited about the trajectory we’re on and anticipate another jump in these rankings for 2017.”

Another significant list to which Woolpert was named for 2016 was Building Design+Construction’s (BD+C) Top 35 Engineering/Architecture firms. The firm moved up to fifth nationwide after ranking seventh in 2015.

“Architecture and engineering are at the heart of our 105-year-old business,” Dougherty said. “And the growth and evolution of these disciplines will drive us into the next century.”
