Engineering News Record Ranks Hatch in the Top 25
On July 18, 2016, Engineering News Record released their Top 225 International Design Firms list, ranking Hatch 24th overall, based on annual revenue both at home and internationally across a variety of sectors.
Hatch placed strongly in the industrial and manufacturing sectors, coming in at third and fourth respectively, additionally placing sixth in both water supply and sewer/waste industries, and 22nd in transportation.
Complementing the list, ENR featured a dedicated story profiling Hatch’s growing infrastructure business. The article quoted Martin Doble, Hatch’s global managing director of infrastructure, describing Hatch’s sharpened focus in the infrastructure market. “For the first time in our history, Hatch is able to offer a globally connected, truly integrated infrastructure capability,” Doble comments. “These capabilities include comprehensive infrastructure planning and advisory services, technology, automation, engineering, and construction.”
The article further detailed Hatch three new market-facing platforms: transportation and logistics, urban solutions, and water and the natural environment, reflecting a holistic approach needed globally for infrastructure investment and projects. Doble adds, “[Clients] are seeking new technology, smarter designs, and better integration of the value chain and related assets.”
