Mindy Whisler to Manage Electrical Design in Kansas City, MO

KANSAS CITY, MO — Mindy Whisler will manage electrical design projects as a new Associate in the Kansas City, Missouri buildings office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.

Ms. Whisler has more than 15 years of experience with broad expertise in project, team management and MEP (mechanical/electrical/plumbing) management. As an electrical engineer, she coordinates activities of technical staff throughout projects, and acts as a project manager/electrical engineer and prime focal point to client(s) throughout projects. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, she was a project manager and electrical engineer for a MEP consulting engineering firm, responsible for managing MEP engineering for multiple healthcare projects ranging from small to large in size.

She also has experience as an electrical engineering team leader with a Lenexa, KS electrical contractor and was responsible for managing engineering staff and a variety of healthcare, commercial and industrial projects.

Ms. Whisler received a BS in architectural engineering from Kansas State University. She is a licensed professional engineer in Kansas and Texas and holds LEED AP BD+C certification. Her professional affiliations include the Kansas City Area Healthcare Engineers, American Society of Healthcare Engineers, and the Lean Construction Institute’s local KC Chapter.
