HNTB Grows Firmwide Aviation Practice
ARLINGTON, Va., June 14, 2016—HNTB added two professionals, Stacy Talmadge – senior environmental specialist and project manager, and Isaiah Johnson – senior terminal planner, architecture. Both are based in the firm’s Arlington, Virginia, office.
“Stacy and Isaiah join HNTB at a crucial juncture in the resurgence of aviation work around the country,” said Nick Antonucci, PE, HNTB mid-Atlantic district leader and vice president. “Their exceptional capabilities will be valuable to our clients who require creative problem solving and innovative planning solutions to help deliver their programs efficiently.”
Isaiah Johnson is respected for his extensive airport terminal planning and design work at major airports. He is well-versed in the latest airport terminal systems and has more than 30 years of experience in aviation planning, programming, construction-phasing and baggage system design. He will work closely with the firm’s architecture practice in Kansas City, Mo.
Johnson’s focus at HNTB is aviation planning for several of the firm’s clients around the country. Initially, he is providing expertise to Bermuda, Detroit, Houston, Tampa, Florida, and Des Moines, Iowa, airports.
Johnson is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the American Planning Association. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Southern University in Louisiana.
Stacy Talmadge brings more than 16 years of industry experience that encompasses environmental planning, project and contract management expertise.
She has extensive experience delivering high-profile aviation environmental and planning projects. Talmadge also has significant expertise with the Federal Aviation Administration’s environmental policies and procedures, and has written and reviewed small- and large-scale environmental assessments, environmental impact statements and categorical exclusions for various airport clients.
At HNTB, Talmadge works with a team of environmental planners and engineers to perform environmental studies and National Environmental Policy Act documentation for a wide range of aviation and transportation projects.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in environmental analysis and planning from Frostburg State University in Maryland.
