The first new capability is the expansion of the firm’s Quick Publish feature to the mobile application available for Apple iPhone and iPad users. By making a few simple selections on their mobile device, iOS BluVue Plans users can now create new projects and upload associated construction pdf plans anywhere, while out of the office and on the go. Sheets will be automatically named, filed into an appropriate folder, assigned version name or number, and appear within minutes ready for use on the mobile device. BluVue Plans 2.3 now also provides web and iPad or iPhone users with the ability to directly and quickly add media attachments like images, videos, or recorded audio notes to project sheets. BluVue Plans becomes the only digital plans solution to provide users with the choice of adding such attachments either as supplementary information to sheet annotations or markups as well as directly as an attachment to the sheet where the easy access icon can be located, repositioned, and even color coded to aid in facilitating project communications among team members and stakeholders.
