Jan. 11, 2016—HOBAS Pipe USA recently shipped 122 m of DN 3000 CC-GRP jacking pipes to Denver, Colo. for the “33rd Street Outfall Project,” a $60 million project that will connect storm sewers to the South Platte River as part of the early phase of $173 million in drainage improvements planned for northeast Denver.

The City and County of Denver chose HOBAS as sole supplier for the crossings in this large-scale stormwater sewer project. Thanks to their high strengths, HOBAS CC-GRP Pipes are able to withstand the heavy rail and highway loads. They will serve as the casing and carrier pipes at two locations where the line will cross under the Union Pacific Rail Road and the Regional Transportation District Commuter Rail Tracks.
