WASHINGTON— The American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) will once again bring a first-class, virtual education experience to the desktops of hundreds of city and county government officials charged with helping to build, manage and maintain the millions of miles of roads, bridges and transit systems that make up the U.S. transportation network.

The free, online learning event, known as LōTrans, the Local Transportation Management & Safety Virtual Conference, takes place Nov. 17 from 11 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST, from your own desktop or laptop computer.

The conference includes a session on the Federal Highway Administration’s “Every Day Counts” program, trends in state and local transportation spending and 2016 economic forecast, intelligent transportation systems, flagging safety for local and rural roads, pedestrians and bicyclists in work zones, and more.

LoTrans was organized with the leadership, counsel and support of ARTBA’s Transportation Officials Division and the Traffic Safety Industry Division.
