Construction Management Expert David Tiberi Joins HNTB in Southern California

LOS ANGELES – David Tiberi, PE, PMP, CCM, rejoined HNTB Corporation as construction program manager and vice president for its expanding West Division transportation infrastructure practice. He is based in HNTB’s Los Angeles office.

Tiberi is responsible for the firm’s growing highway and bridge planning, design and construction practices and supporting the firm’s project and construction management team on the I-10 Express Lanes Design-Build project for the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority.

Tiberi has over three decades of diverse industry experience leading cross-functional units in several aspects of transportation engineering consulting.  His many achievements include providing planning, engineering, construction and program management for California infrastructure projects in Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Bernardino.

Tiberi previously served HNTB clients as regional construction leader. He also has worked as a structure representative for Caltrans and an assistant resident officer in charge of construction for the U.S. Navy. He is involved in several industry organizations, including the American Society of Civil Engineers, Construction Management Association of America and the Society of American Military Engineers.

Tiberi earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and his master’s degree in civil engineering-structures from California State University, Northridge.
