Gary Hullfish Named New Jersey Office Leader for HNTB Corporation

PARSIPPANY, N.J. – Gary Hullfish, PE, a vice president at HNTB Corporation, has been named New Jersey office leader. Hullfish is based in the firm’s Parsippany office.

“New Jersey’s transportation network is facing important challenges, and Gary’s expertise and knowledge will help provide the state’s transportation agencies with thoughtful approaches and innovative solutions to improve mobility,” said Phil Brake, PE, HNTB’s Northeast Division president.

A New Jersey resident with more than 30 years of experience in the transportation industry, Hullfish joined HNTB in 2015, and most recently served as the firm’s Northeast Division operations officer. He previously held several regional and office leadership roles at other consulting firms, and is a highly skilled project manager with experience on a wide variety of transportation projects. 

Hullfish is a professional engineer and graduate of Drexel University with a bachelor’s in civil engineering. He is a member of the American Road and Transportation Builders Association, American Society of Highway Engineers and the Women’s Transportation Seminar.

In New Jersey, HNTB’s work includes the design of the Pulaski Skyway rehabilitation, design of the dedicated truck route from the region’s ports known as Portway as well as other projects for the New Jersey Department of Transportation; serving as the general consulting engineer for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority; construction manager for the Garden State Parkway interchange 125 improvement project; and program manager for New Jersey Transit’s post-superstorm Sandy resiliency efforts, among others.
