Association President John Schroer this month named Heather Stout of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to serve as vice chair of the Special Committee on AASHTOWare.

Stout, who has been the KYTC’s executive director for the Office of Information Technology since March 2016, was already on the special committee for a term through June 30 of this year. AASHTO said her designation as the panel’s vice chair will run concurrently with that term of service.

The special committee is chaired by Mike Bousliman, who is administrator of the Montana Department of Transportation’s Information Services Division.

The committee administers the AASHTOWare computer software program, which offers a suite of products for transportation project design and management that are cooperatively developed and updated by state DOT experts across the nation.
