San Francisco, CA – Stantec announces the addition of Stephen Shea as a principal in its Information and Communication Technology (ICT) group. With more than 19 years of experience, he will lead Stantec’s audiovisual (AV) design and consulting team in the western US and provide overall leadership for all ICT services within the Bay Area and northern California. He will be responsible for staff and business development, client relationships, and leadership on major ICT projects. Shea is based in the San Francisco office.

“We’re very excited that Stephen has joined our team,” says Tod Moore, principal and ICT leader with Stantec. “Stephen brings a unique blend of detailed audiovisual consulting skills, combined with impressive ICT knowledge, experience, and leadership skills.”

In Shea’s previous post, he led teams of acoustics, audiovisual, telecommunications, IT systems, and security consultants and developed strong relationships with clients and end-users. He created industry leading solutions for the technology challenges in the corporate, healthcare, education, judicial, and hospitality markets.

Shea earned a master of fine arts degree from UCLA and a bachelor’s degree from Emerson College in Boston. He is a certified technology specialist (CTS). With his expertise, he will support strategic local, regional, and national initiatives for ICT and will help grow the AV practice nationally and internationally.

Currently, Shea is involved in the UC Davis Orchard Park project, and will soon be engaged on a California Military Department project near Sacramento.
