Jeffrey Long Joins Stantec as Designer in Architecture

Sacramento, CA – NYSE, TSX: STN: Stantec hired Jeffrey Long as project designer supporting its architectural practice. His responsibilities include pre-design code and accessibility analysis, plan and detail development, coordination between architecture and consultant drawing sets for accurate submittals, and construction administration. Long is working in the Sacramento, CA office.
A recent graduate of California College of Arts with a master’s degree in architecture, Long is currently supporting the Kaiser Inpatient Pharmacy Upgrades project and a midrise, mixed-use commercial building. At his prior post, he contributed to healthcare and public sector projects.
Long is the “Materials Matter” chair for American Institute of Architects Central Valley (AIACV) and is currently leading an initiative and symposium to understand the impacts of material health and sustainability in the building industry. He is also a member of AIACV Committee on the Environment (COTE).
