Michael Baker International Recognized as a 2017 Great Place to Work

Pittsburgh – Michael Baker International, a global leader in engineering, planning and consulting services, was certified as a great workplace by the independent analysts at Great Place to Work^® for the second consecutive year. The company earned this credential based on the exemplary ratings provided by its team members in an anonymous survey.

Great Place to Work is a recognition program that conducts the largest workplace culture study in the world, with 6,000 companies participating. The process includes the distribution of a workplace satisfaction survey to randomly selected employees and the analysis of their responses benchmarked against the best company workplaces.

Michael Baker International employees completed 1,120 surveys, resulting in a 90 percent confidence level and a margin of error of ± 1.97. According to the study, 94 percent of Michael Baker team members take great pride in working at the company, 93 percent believe the company has a great work atmosphere and 89 percent feel challenged by their work. Michael Baker also received high engagement rankings in categories that identified the following: great bosses, great rewards, and ample resources and tools provided, among other key attributes.
