Video: Crews Disassemble Drill from Inside Tunnel
As the front section of the giant SR 99 tunneling machine Bertha is cut and lifted from a disassembly pit, crews are hard at work disassembling the back end of the machine through the new tunnel. This short time lapse condenses more than a month’s work into less than 30 seconds.
