Cummins Sales and Service Names Jacques Fourie President, Rocky Mountain Region

COLUMBUS, INDIANA – Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) today announced Jacques Fourie is the new President, Rocky Mountain Region. The Rocky Mountain Region has 900 employees located across the U.S. (New Mexico, Arizona, Montana, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Nevada and Idaho) and Mexico.

In July 2015, Jacques relocated to Colorado with his family to join the Rocky Mountain Region as the operations leader, overseeing the Master Rebuild Center, the Power Generation Packaging facility, and 16 branches in nine states and remote mining activities in the Sierra Madre region in Northern Mexico.

Jacques joined Cummins in 2004 as the Finance Director for the Cummins Southern Africa distributor before transitioning to Finance Director for Africa Regional Distribution organization in 2006. He has experience in establishing and managing multiple distributor locations in Africa, and has extensive knowledge in Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining Cummins, Jacques was an auditor with Price Waterhouse Coopers with primary focus on the Commercial, Industrial, and Production segments for large corporations.

Jacques has his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting (Honors) from the University of Pretoria, SA, and has participated in the Cummins Global Leadership Development Program in Africa. He is passionate about helping underprivileged children and he is a strong advocate for women’s rights.
